Social, Personal and Public Service Cluster

The Social, Personal and Public Service Cluster includes careers involved in providing personal and public services, care for children and families, production of nutritious foods in the home and commercially, and protection for individuals.

HHS students are asked to plan a career major while in high school. The four-year plan will help students study a specific area in a career cluster. The student may change life and career goals as new knowledge and experiences are acquired.

The following are areas of specialization offered at HHS involving social services, personal services and public services:

Cosmetology

Criminal Justice

Culinary Arts & Business

Education/Early Childhood through Secondary

FACS Career Preparation

Fashion Merchandising

Interior Design

Below are the technical and technical specialty courses that are part of the social services, personal services and public services specializations' four-year plans.
