Early Graduation
Students may be able to graduate in three or three and one-half years. Application must be made through the guidance department and official forms signed by parents in order to exercise either option. The decision to graduate at mid-year must be made by the end of the junior year so that full-year courses such as English 4 can be begun in the summer before the senior year. This option is only available to students who have been enrolled in Hallsville High School prior to the second term of their junior year.

NCAA Academic Requirements
NCAA regulations stipulate that all academic "core" courses be completed during high school for eligibility in Division I or Division II college athletes. Students must have 16 core courses.
