HHS earns Exemplary TAKS Scores

  Hallsville High School just completed one of its most successful years in school history. Our campus' TAKS scores increased in every test and in every indicator, and HHS is predicted to become a Exemplary campus as designated by the Texas Education Agency. In addition to our success in the classroom, our students excelled in many areas. Our UIL Academic Team won the district championship, regional championship and earned the State Champion Runner-Up with 5 students winning the state gold medal in their events.  This has been a historic year in UIL Academics. Several of our athletic teams advanced to the playoffs with 2 students winning the gold and bronze in track and field. Our FFA program continued its tradition of excellence by being ranked 10th in the state. Our band and choir programs continued their tradition of winning sweepstakes honors. Our CX debate team won the state title and runner up title and became one of the top 25 teams in the nation. We are proud of our campus, and we invite you to be a partner with one of the best high schools in the state of Texas.
