HS Special Services Information


The following links are designed to help answer questions regarding educational opportunities at Hallsville High School. Contact persons are also provided for more detailed information.

Dyslexia Program
Students who meet the requirements and are approved by the Section 504 committee may enroll and receive credit for Reading Multisensory Teaching Approach/MTA.


English for Speakers of Other Languages
Students who speak other languages and are approved by the LPAC committee, may take English I and English II for Speakers of Other Languages and receive credit for English I and II. The courses are taught by a certified English as a Second Language teacher.


Gifted and Talented Program
Students identified by the district as gifted and talented are served through the Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement programs.
