English for Speakers of Other Languages Students who speak other languages and are approved by the LPAC
committee, may take English I and English II for Speakers of Other Languages and receive credit for English I and II.
The courses are taught by a certified English as a Second Language teacher.
Hallsville
ISD will take steps to assure that lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in
all educational and career and technology programs.
Gifted and Talented Program Students identified by the district as gifted
and talented are served through the Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement programs.
